Urban land market is an important component of the socialist market economic system ,under the depth reform and opening up development, urban land use issues have gradually increased, the main problems: China's large population base, the land which can make use is decreasing; land quality decreased year by year and a fragile ecological environment; excessive land reclamation, reserve resources serious shortage of land and use efficiency is not high, unreasonable structure, land production potential has not been fully played, and so on. Urban land use is a huge and complex system, it is include the macro issues and micro issues, both economic efficiency, but also social and environmental benefits issues. If deal with these problems properly, urban land use of optimization will go to best. In urban land use, the mechanism of the market and government will play with each other, complementary role. Under the existing urban land-use mechanism, China's urban land-use efficiency and structure compared with the planned economy period has been a great improvement and rationalization, but in practice many problems still exist, such as land property rights arrangements in China is still uncertainly, The rights and interests of the fuzzy defects, the market mechanism is not perfect, the mechanism is rigid, backward. so, the comprehensive and in-depth study of current urban land-use mechanism is the inevitable choice which conduct China's sustainable development strategy and take the road of sustainable development, farther from now until the future development.Through meticulous analysis and a review of the literature information, adopting the method of comparison and analysis of domestic and international mechanisms for land use and status of the research, which is the theoretical research base of the mechanism of China's urban land use. Economics property rights methodology in light of China's current land property rights system with urban land market mechanisms basic principles, closer analysis of China's urban land market mechanism of operation. Then conduct a comprehensive analysis for China's urban land use government intervention mechanism, and discover the root causes of problems. Finally, reform the existing system of urban land and specific policy measures and recommendations to improve efficiency and structure of the urban land use, to achieve the sustainable comprehensive goals.
