Until the end of 2004, the annual sale has exceeded 500 hundred million dollars and more than 50 thousands people were hired by D Company. But the growth of D Company is slowing down in recent two years, the price of PC is coming down constantly made this direct model, the unique weapon not as powerful as before , the business environment is kept changing and fast than ever, the consumer customer like to touch before buying, the competition from rivals was not in one particular area but extend globally, the demand of market and customer is variable and pretty hard to predict since there are thousand of products and new technology come up in front of them, the life cycle of the product is became shorter and shorter while the price war is intensive among this IT industry, how can we beat the all above challenges and turn around, we should and have to find out the new manufacturing method that to be low cost, time to market and flexible.As an employee of D Company, the writer is trying to introduce and analyze DCompany Model thoroughly with the working experience in D Company as toexplore the secret for D Company's achievements and also put forward theenlightenments for enterprises in China.This paper includes four parts.Chapter One, Introduction. This section mainly introduces the definition of DCompany direct business model and flexible Manufacturing system.
