The software industry, which holds the commanding point of high-tech domain, has played a center role in today's knowledge-based economy and information society. As one of the fastest growing industries on earth, the industry has been turning into the strategic industry in increasingly more countries. Developing the software industry is critical for the optimization and upgrade of China's industrial structure, the quality improvement of its economy operation, as well as the enhancement of its international competitiveness. The article further points out that the software community should be built in line with the pace and character of the industrial development.Under the principle of innovation, the article has first used such research methods as comparison study, case study, and countermeasure study to expatiate and analyze the Industrial Conglomeration Theory and Growth Pole Theory, gained inspirations by comparing the development of successful international software parks and well-known domestic software parks and their exploration in community Construction, and made a conclusion of the features and shortcomings of the community construction of software parks in China. Then taking Shanghai Pudong Software Park, one of the national software industrial bases, for example, the article has made a deep analysis of the community construction in Shanghai Pudong Software Park. Finally, and from the perspectives of Industrial Conglomeration Theory and Growth Pole Theory, the article has made a further discussion on community construction in software parks, realization of rapid development of software enterprises and happy living and working of employees. Suggestions on improving the community construction in Shanghai Pudong Software Park and promoting community construction in domestic software parks are also given in the conclusion. In short, the article made a research and exploration of community construction in software parks within the framework of the theories of community development in software parks, and provided new ideas in speeding up the construction of software parks in China.
