Study Of The Development Of Convention And Exhibition Industry In Liaoning Province

Nowadays,with the trend of economic globalization accelerating and international exchanges increasing,as an important way of promoting economic exchanges and trading,convention and exhibition is getting more and more extensive attention all around the world.The related studies on convention and exhibition industry also draw great concern of the domestic and foreign scholars.The comprehensive effects of convention and exhibition industry have not only limited to some relative industries, such as tourism,hotel and accommodation,but also have a profound impact on economic development of a whole city and region.Convention and exhibition industry has become an indispensable economic form of social life,and with the strengthening of economic trade and continuous expanding of economic exchange scope,it plays an increasingly important role in economic communication and social development.Liaoning Province is a heavy industry based,multi-sectoral integrated developed economical area,and not only has a solid industry foundation and a high degree of urbanization,but also rich tourism resources and very convenient transportation.It is leading the economic development of northeastern China.Since Dalian City first proposed the objective of developing international well-known exhibition city in 1994, after a short period of a decade,Liaoning Province has become one of influential exhibition centers,especially Dalian and Shenyang being new well-known leader exhibition city in China.At present,the momentum of convention and exhibition industry in Liaoning develops rapidly,and the convention enterprises also obtain the good development.As a result,convention and exhibition industry has gradually become an important force of driving economic development in Liaoning Province,.In this paper,convention and exhibition industry in Liaoning is chosen as the study object.The author conducted a general analysis on the development of domestic, international and Liaoning convention and exhibition industry and exhibiton enterprises, applied gray correlation analytic method to measure the correlation degree of convention and exhibition industry in Liaoning and related industries,and finally based on qualitative and quantitative analysis accordingly arose suggestion to Liaoning convention and exhibition industry and enterprises.The purpose of this paper is through the study of Liaoning convention and exhibition industry,to provide theoretical support for the development of convention and exhibition industry in Liaoning,and better guidance for exhibition practice,in order to promote the further development of convention and exhibition industry in Liaoning province.
