Volatile market demands, frequent product replacement, short product life-cycle in the small and medium-sized manufacturing clusters require the enterprises in the industrial clusters to be highly agile. The quick response of industry cluster supply chain to the volatile market demand relies on the agile operation and the close co-operation among all the members of the cluster supply chain. Applying supply chain management theory to study industry cluster management problem was just a few years ago. Academic research of the cluster supply chain management focuses on concept definition, cluster structure and operation mode, cooperation and competition relationship, demand and inventory management, technological innovation etc. There is rarely study on the cluster supply chain agile mechanism.Studying the agile mechanism based on the system analysis of the ordering mode in small and medium-sized manufacturing cluster supply chain, finding out the pros and cons of agile mechanism and trying to make improvements are significant in both theory and practice. The analysis of small and medium-sized manufacturing cluster supply chain agile mechanism in the thesis is a perspective innovation.The following main points and conclusions of the thesis are proved through qualitative system analysis, quantitative profit function description and computer simulation. The agile ordering system of small and medium-sized manufacturing cluster supply chain is non-reciprocal. The dealers make the initiative order decisions in accordance with market demand, while the manufacturers can only meet the dealer's demand passively by setting flexible production capacity. The non-reciprocal ordering system increases the pressure on the small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises and increases the dealers' supply interruption risk. And in the long term, the positive evolvement and the upgrading of the whole industrial cluster is hampered. The development of mixed ordering price strategy of manufacturer on the basis of ensuring the same cluster supply chain agility can effectively motivate the dealers to increase the ordering quantity and reduce the number of orders, especially the number of small quantity replenishment orders. The implementation of the mixed ordering price strategy guarantees the same agility of the small and medium-sized manufacturing cluster supply chain and improves the production initiative of the manufacturer. Longer production plan can be scheduled; the continuity and stability of production can be improved; and the risk of supply interruption of the dealer can be reduced. In general, small and medium-sized manufacturing cluster supply chain agile ordering mechanism has been improved under mixed ordering price strategy.
