Sharing the advantageous opportunities and achievements from the reform and opening-up in China, the joint stock SMEs in Shenzhen established since 1992 are facing the challenge of transforming to modern enterprises. By analyzing and summarizing the development and current situation of joint stock economy, this article deems that building competitive HRM system is the only guarantee to seek reform and break through the development's bottleneck for the joint stock enterprise in Shenzhen.Adopting the combination of theoretic research and practical survey,the author analyzes the current situation of HRM in Company B. Then it finds out HR is becoming older and low diploma and re-deployment becomes heavy. Through the survey of customers'complaining and staff satisfaction,the author analyzes and summarizes the HRM problems in Company B and also analyzes the reasons in HR planning, job analysis, performance and salary management, style of management.According to the characteristic of HRM in joint stock SMEs, the author points out three core basic measures for improvement: constituting the human resources plan, setting-up and analyzing logical position base on optimized organization structure, improving performance and recompense management.Based on similar background, growing process and business status of most of joint stock SMEs in Shenzhen City, the author hopes the article can be helpful to those enterprises with similar conditions through the discussion about HR management of Company B. But under the current economic environment, it will be very tough and long-term task to figure out how to minimize the difference between HR system of modern companies and such companies, which needs to make further study and research.
