With the company globalization and increasing enlargement of China reformation and open,more and more multinational settle in China and establish their manufacturing bases,which both propel Chinese economy and bring their advanced management experiences to Chinese company.Performance management is one of them.They have realized they must have the performance management system serving company strategy, and then effectively turn abstract strategy into concrete activities of the staff by means of perfect performance management so as to guarantee the successful execution of the strategy.This thesis rolled out how to practice performance appraisal in production fields, which is the core of performance management system.It is truly my intention to find a new way for reference for developing similar enterprises.About this dissertation's structure,first of all,the way to performance appraisal is introduced,which mainly includes the introduction of Key Performance Indicators (KPI).It also points out what way would be chosen according to the facts and objectives of a company.Secondly,a thorough study on the issues of the performance appraisal in manufacturing fields of Yantai Timken Co,Ltd is put up,which is the basis of the analysis of the interior and the external atmosphere.Finally,a proposal to establish and practice a circulating new system of performance appraisal for production fields is put forward in order to improve production performance appraisal effectively.This dissertation thinks that performance appraisal for production fields are complicated and basic work.You should not pay more attention to the advanced theory and good appearance of performance appraisal so as to perform them effectively.It is the key to focus on production and listen to the voice from workers.Only this way can you let performance appraisal play a baton role.
