Research On Virtual Information Service Industry Cluster

With the rising of the information economy globally, the information has become the key resource which enterprises and individual must be grasped for accessing to competitive advantage. The need of the information and information service to the society is in the urgent demand; the information service enterprises whose main business is providing information service have played an increasingly essential role in promoting the development of the whole society. At the same time, as the mode of the regional economic growth, the phenomenon of industry cluster has attracted the common attention of the scholars and the governments from all over the world. Especially in the new century, the combination of cluster and information technology comes into being a new cluster form, which is the virtual cluster. This cluster is not associated depending on the regional advantage geographically as the traditional clusters, but mutual connected according to the advanced network in order to reduce costs, promote innovation, and ultimately enhances the competitiveness of the entire cluster. The superiority in technique of information service enterprises which is in the cutting-edge of information wave, which form virtual clusters more easily compared to other industries.The research object of this thesis is just about the greatly new and important cluster. Drawing on the research theory and empirical research fruit of the traditional industry cluster and the information industry, the author defines the related concept of the virtual information service industry cluster, explores its formation mechanism, analyses the value chain of the cluster, introduces the concept of cluster innovation network, and finally studies the innovation mechanism of virtual information service industry cluster.There are 6 chapters in this thesis:Chapter 1 introduces the background, research meaning, current research status at home and abroad, research content and the innovation of this thesis.Chapter 2 describes the related concept of the virtual information service industry cluster, defines the virtual information service industry cluster and summarizes its characteristics.Chapter 3 discusses the formation mechanism of the virtual information service industry cluster, which contains the power sources of the formation, forming conditions and the formation way.Chapter 4 takes the analytic method of the value chain into the research of the virtual information service industry cluster, on the basis of definitude related concept, the author analyses the value constitution of the information product, sums up the structural features of the value chain, presents value chain model as well as the measures to optimize the value chain.Chapter 5 analyses and concludes the innovation mechanism of virtual information service industry cluster by using the concept of the innovation network. Through the analysis of composition, mutual relations and operation principle for innovation mechanism, the author puts forward the suggestion to the promoting innovation for the virtual information service industry cluster.Chapter 6 summarizes the opinion of the full text, and predicts the prospect for further research.
