Study On Investment Risk Management Of The Seaport Logistics Park In Weifang Binhai Economic Development Area

The investment and construction of Logistics Park is a systematic engineering, which involve so many sections, such as programming, transportation, land, business, taxation etc., and which have some characteristics of greatly capital, long recovery period of investment and much uncertainty factor etc. Therefore, the investment of Logistics Park faces with tremendous risk, and the investor must do the best of risk management to ensure the project's success. However, to the investment of Logistics Park, many logistics enterprises often neglect of the investment risk, lack enough document of risk management, and have little valid techniques to analyze and supervise the risk. So, as the competition between domestic and abroad getting more and more brutal, it gradually becomes a compulsory course for the logistics industry to learn the knowledge of investment risk management.In China, the research on risk started lately, and the research on investment risk of logistics industry is just a new fields. At present, the researches of risk on Logistics Park are not much, it mainly concentrate on identification and assessment of risk. What's more, the methods it used are relatively single, the responses and preventions for risk are limited. In a word, the research on risk management of Logistics Park seems imperfect, which need to get further development and innovation. Regarding to this situation, the thesis take the common theory of risk management as a foundation and introduce the latest theory--frame of"COSO-ERM". It provides a guide to found risk identification, risk assessment and risk management and was applied to analysis the risk in the investment of the Logistics Park, establish a system of risk management for Logistics Park and assess the risk of Logistics Park with AHP fuzzy synthetic evaluation method. It enhances the maneuverability of the risk management of Logistics Park to a certain extent.The thesis divides into five sections.Section one: introduction. This section mainly elaborated the goal and significance of research, and then reviewed the current situation about risk management and the risk of Logistics Park. Section two: the basic theory of risk management about Logistics Park. This section mainly introduced the basic theory of investment risk management about Logistics Park. It firstly introduced the general definition, goal and content of risk management, and then introduced the frame of COSO-ERM.Section three: the present situation and function of investment risk management in China. This section mainly elaborated the function of COSO-ERM frame for the investment risk management of China. To begin with, the section introduced the concept, constitution and basic function of Logistics Park, and then elaborated the present situation of investment risk management risk management in China. Finally, it pointed out the function of COSO-ERM frame for the investment risk management of Logistics Park.Section four: demonstrative analysis. This section mainly elaborated the detail process in applying the COSO-ERM frame. Firstly, it introduced the background of the project, and then elaborated each step's implementation of COSO-ERM frame.Section five: conclusion and forecast. It mainly reviewed the primary content of the thesis, proposed some corresponding suggestions of the process, and finally pointed out the limitation and research direction of the thesis.
