Youth hotels and motels is the embryonic form of the economic hotel. In 1912, the world's first Youth Hostel was born in Germany. In 1963, the world's first economy hotel brand established in the United States.During the more than 20 years development, the number of hotels has grown rapidly , and products a multi-level form, diversified development trend. Hotels has push the international arena, since the economy around the hotel all over Europe and the United States, and gradually developed into Asia, Africa and other places. Foreign economy hotel has experienced three distinct stages of development with start, develop and mature. With the improvement of living standards, business-type tourists and domestic tourists has increased in transactional. The domestic economic demand for hotels has been enhanced in China. In 1997, China's first economic-type hotel - Jin Jiang in Shanghai was set up to meet consumer tourism demand. After 10 years, economy hotels have developed rapidly in China. With different mode of development abroad, China's economy hotels, mainly from the High-star hotel developed from a very obvious and there is no stage of development.Although economy hotel of China start lately, capital, experience, talent and so is still a disadvantage, lack of management standards related industries, the lack of management, lack of brand building, professional development is still scarce, such as hotels will be faced with the enormous challenges, but there are still some companies come to the fore, actively advancing exploration. Among them, such as home, Jinjiang, represented by the national name-brand economy hotels have been issued by the size, in practice have accumulated valuable experience. In the tourism industry is extremely competitive today, an increasing number of hotel groups are already seeing the potential economic advantages of the hotel and in order to compete for China's huge piece of the "Consumer cake" engaged in a fierce competition. However, faced with the prospect of a huge market, China's economic advantage of the hotel did not come out, not only have to face competition in the local hotel, but also with foreign large-scale hotel management group match.The author access to a large number of domestic and foreign economic hotels books, articles and data to marketing theory, behavioral science theory, franchise management theory, management theory, such as micro-services for the theoretical basis, the domestic and international economic development as hotels study, an analysis comparing hotels on the country's economic future to predict the development trend and countermeasures.
