In recent years,with the spreading of the theory of corporate culture,more and more enterprises recognized that corporate culture would bring them with tangible and intangible,economic and social double benefits.Enterprises have attached more and more importance to strenthen their core competitiveness through fostering corporate culture and precept.But how to foster corporate culture based on the core competitiveness of the enterpise? How to ensure that corporate culture connects with development of the enterprise closely? And how to use corporate culture to build the unbeatable competitiveness of the enterprise? These questions are still a hard nut to crack.This paper begins its study with the characteristics and relations of corporate culture and core competitiveness.It believes that corporate culture is one of the key elements of the core competitiveness.Corporate culture determines the direction of management and development of the core competitiveness,and provides vitality for forming the core competitiveness.Hence the steps and forming mechanism of fostering corporate culture based on core competitiveness are induced.The paper points out that,at present,if any Chineses enterprise wants to foster its unique corporate culture with core competitiveness,it should start from the three key elements which make up the core competitiveness,i.e.,the objective customers of the enterprise,the key skills and technology,and the coordinating and integrating mechanism,and take the characteristics of the core competitiveness,i.e., valuableness,distinctiveness,systematic integration,and changeableness,into full consideration.Furthermore,by analyzing corporate culture of five typical enyerprises with core competitiveness,it found that all the enterprises have a kernel idea,and the spirit of pursuing progress and innovation.They regard people as foundation,respect their employees,and satify their customers.Lastly,this paper takes China Netcom(Group)Corporation,Beijing Branch as an example to illustrate how to foster corporate culture based on core competitiveness,and makes corporate culture from theory to practice,distinctive and full of vigour.
