Research On The Developing Of The Superior Manufaturing In Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Zone

As deepening of Western Development Program and the Chengdu- Chongqing Economic Zone becoming the important region of "11th Five-Year" plan. The development of Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Zone becoming more and more important up to a national level in the new period , this Economic Zone will be a new Growth Pole in west of China as well as the whole contry.The functional location of Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Zone is "One Pole. Five Base, One Barrier ", they are new national Growth Pole . Equipment Manufacturing Base, High-tech Industry Base, Clean Energy Base, Sicentific research for national defense Industry Base, Angriciltural Product Processing Base and the Ecology Barrier of upper reaches of Yangtze River. The centralized district of the manufacturing sector in Chengdu Deyang Mianyang Economic Belt, the Motocycle Industry in Chongqing. the centalized district of Equipment manufactuing Industry in this economic zone, has made a remarkable contribution to the grpwth of this economic zone. However, in the face of absolute superiority about the Yangtze River Delta, Pearl River Delta, and also in the face of a new round of the structural changes in manufacturing industry. How the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Zone locate its maufacturing fuction in international and domestic environment, how to keep its sustainable advantage in new period ,these questions become very real in front of us.This papers make a comparative analysis between the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Zone and the Yangtze River Delta,Pearl River Delta, Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, as well as the development trend of China's manufacturing industry with strategic analysis, so as to try to make accurate location of manufancturing industry in Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Zone.Meanwhile, this paper combined with 2004 National economic census data on the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Zone, the manufacturing industry development, especially in the industrial layout to conduct a comprehensive, detailed description and diagnosis.Provides the basis for detailed and accurate materials and also recommendations for the development of manufacturing strategy in Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Zone.
