Chengdu-chongqing Economic Disparities In Status And The Choice Of Leading Industry Research

Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Zone is one of our two-center economic zone, how to locate the functions of Chengdu, Chongqing, two centers in the economic area and how to coordinate center - periphery relationship between the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Zone is the first solution problem in accordance with the functions.During the past decade, the cities of Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Zone has undergone great changes in urban and rural comprehensive reform test .As an economic center ,what did the test have impacts on ChongQing City and how business opportunities for the cities after the arrival of "low-carbon economy" era, These problems are the concern of this article. This article starts with economic disparities between the cities of Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Zone,and refines the four components which influence the economic development of various cities, summarizes their strengths and weaknesses. These advantages and disadvantages of this result will become a basis for the leading industries'choice.In the analysis to leading industries ,the article firstly divided 17 cities into three groups by the qualitative methods which use different standards of industrial transformation.The standard fully reflects the local conditions and enhance the operability of the article conclusion. Through qualitative and quantitative study, the article finds that there exists many problems during the choice of leading industry in some cities of Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Zone in the past years .The main problem is in the non-center cities such as Mianyang, Neijiang, Meishan have such a tendency to multi-choose leading industries ,Thus they all end with the result of failure, Practice shows that in the leading industries process, if not according to their regional situation, the wrong pursuit of "fashion" industries, the results will definitely be not good. On a deeper view, the choice of leading industry should be a rigorous and scientific process, not by the will of the decision. Only respect for the laws of economic development, regions will achieve the desired goal.After fully considered Shinohara Miyohei proposed benchmarks, the article makes eight benchmarks combinating with special situation in Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Zone.According to the specific resources and locations in distinct 17 cities, their own direction of development of leading industries were put forward in Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Zone,.More suggestion were rendered that Chengdu will build a "diffusion-based economic center", and Chongqing will build a "need-based financial center" in the future.Main methods: principal component method, Theil...
