The Study And The Application Of Facility Layout Improvement At A Workshop In F Group

With the development of economy and globalization of competition, manufacturing enterprises in our country are facing more and more fierce competition. Workshop layout has a significant influence on material flow, information flow, production capacity, production cost and safety of production systems. It can save the cost of material handling, shorten production cycle time, accelerate production process and circulation of Floating capital. Therefore, exAent facility layout is an important resource and tool for improving benefits of production system, a precondition and foundation for realizing modern management and advanced mode of production.Considering former engineering context, this paper will make use of facility layout theory and IE technology, with a view of the problem of TFT-LCD A workshop in Group F, to research these items as follows:In chapter one, this paper analyzes the status quo and development trend at home and abroad in this field.In chapter two, this paper introduces meaning and the principle of workshop facility layout. We study the pattern and method of System Layout Planning (SLP) and System Handling Analysis (SHA).In chapter three, we analyze original technical process in A workshop using procedure analysis and man-machine operating analysis of the fundament of industrial engineering. We improve the process of polaroid pastes attaching, Scribbing and Breaking, Liquid crystal cleaning and the Panel Liquid Cleaning etc.. On the foundation of process improvement, we complete facility layout improvement design of the A workshop using SLP method.In chapter four, on the foundation of facility layout improvement, with a view of characteristic of material handling system in A workshop, we analyze material and movement, Logistics and distance, complete Improvement design of material handling system in A workshop.Finally, in chapter five, we analyze the effect of improvement of facility layout and material handling system using system simulation and empirical analysis to confirm the validity of the improvement.
