Land Use Degree In The Urbanization Area Of Gansu Province

Based on changing data of land use, China Yearbook and the Yearbook of Gansu Province from 1997 to 2007, urbanization rate of GanSu and comprehensive Index of Land Use Degree were analyzed. The results show that:(1)Urbanization development in Gansu Province was gradually increasing trend, particularly after 2001. Urbanization rate of Gansu Province was 23.69% in 1997 and 24.51% in 2001. The urbanization rate of Gansu Province reached 31.59% in 2007. Starting in 2005, the level of urbanization in Gansu Province more than 30% in Gansu Province to speed up the urbanization process to enter the stage of development. In addition to Jiayuguan City, the rest all over the city gradually increase the level of urbanization during 1997 and 2007.Since 2001, around the city more apparent upward trend in urbanization. However, regional differences in the level of urbanization significantly. By the end of 2007, according to the urban areas (excluding the city of cutting the county) of the non-agricultural population, and only in Lanzhou City is more than one million mega-cities.(2) Land use rate in Gansu province was 56.93% in 1997, far below the national level of 72.8%. Land use rate in Gannan was the highest for 96.11%, land use rate in Jiayuguan city was the smallest for 19.88%.The land reclamation rate of Gansu Province was 10.62 percent than the national level in 2007.Tianshui City, the highest rate of land reclamation for 39.56 percent, followed by Dingxi City 34.17%, 28.93% for the Linxia state. Jiayuguan City was the smallest for 2.51%. Land reclamation rates and land utilization rates of Lanzhou City were 86.66%, 21.56%.(3) Comprehensive index of land use degree of GanSu change marginally during 1997 and 2007, decreasing the overall level of land use.Land Use Degree of Jiayuguan city, Jinchang City, Zhangye City, Wuwei City were increase during 1997 and 2007.The most obvious is Jiayuguan city,The change about land-use composite index of Jiayuguan is 0.9404 during 1997 and 2007 and the change is 1.8475 during 2002 and 2007. The extent of land-use Jinchang City Composite Index, although the rise was faster, but no significant Jiayuguan City.The city which the Comprehensive index of land use degree are decline including Lanzhou City, Silver City, Tianshui City, Jiuquan City, Dingxi City, Longnan City, Pingliang City, Qingyang City, Linxia state, Gannan during 1997 and 2007. Lanzhou City in 1997 -2001, along with economic development and population growth, land use Lanzhou increasing. The extent of land use composite index dropped change of -1.8204 during 2002 and 2007, indicating Lanzhou City in economic development, land-use more and more reasonable, more attention to the protection of the environment, pay attention to land-use types in the area of rational use of more attention to the land-use intensity, so that the city of Lanzhou, the process of land-use transition from quantitative to qualitative changes.(4) In addition to Jiayuguan, the other city, the urbanization rate and per capita GDP was a positive correlation, which Gannan, Dingxi City, Pingliang City, Silver City, Linxia state urbanization and per capita GDP was very significant positive correlation. Longnan City, Wuwei City, Tianshui, Zhangye City, the urbanization rate and GDP per capita was a significant positive correlation, and the urbanization rate in Lanzhou City and the relevance of per capita GDP is also good.These cities with the rising level of urbanization economic level continues to rise. Qingyang City, Jinchang City, Jiuquan City, the relevance of the general, Jiayuguan City, rather special, urbanization and per capita GDP was a negative correlation. This is because the Jiayuguan has a special geo-economic conditions, resulting in non-agricultural population accounts for a large floating population so large, so that changes in urbanization rate instability, and per capita GDP due to the rapid economic development and continues to rise. Lead to a negative correlation relationship.(5) Municipalities in Gansu Province and the population density and GDP changes are complementary to each other municipalities to the population density and land use are GDP and the degree of change in trend is related to, but all city population density, and both GDP and the extent of land-use correlation is very different, that is a positive correlation, and negative correlation, as well irrelevant. One of Lanzhou City, Silver City, Tianshui City, Jiuquan City, Dingxi City, Pingliang City, Qingyang City, Gansu Gannan state and the population density and degree of land use was a negative correlation. Zhangye City, Longnan City, almost no relevance. Jiayuguan City, Jinchang city and Wuwei city's population density and land-use degree of positive correlation.(6)In addition to Jinchang city and Wuwei city the extent of urbanization and land use is positively correlated, and the rest of the city's urbanization and land use both the degree of negative correlation. Silver City, which, Longnan City, Tianshui City, the highest negative correlation, R are -0.9479, -0.9448, -0.9008, reaching a significant level. Gansu province is mainly due to urbanization over time, continuously improve, but the extent of land use has declined. Therefore, analysis of the relevance of many of the city was a negative correlation. This is all over the city, Gansu Province, the land use planning. At present, land use, Gansu Province is working towards a more rational direction, human factors play a decisive role in the control and give full play to the people's initiative to make better land-use control, land use efficiency increased from quantitative to qualitative change. Gansu Province, the rational utilization of land is in a period of adjustment, when the land use to achieve the full reasonable circumstances, the urbanization level will be the extent of land use was positively correlated.
