Research On Industrial Relationship And Harmonious Development Of Chengdu-chongqing Economic Zone

With strategic guidance of Western Development, two core cities Chengdu and Chongqing which is located the upper reaches of the Yangtse River, and its radiative economic zone can play a driving role in western economic. Chengdu-Chongqing economic zone was listed in 4 big economic regions which country would pay much attention to, in the first draft of Fifth Ten-year Plan, in October, 2005. In 2007,Nation Development and Reform Commission approved Chengdu and Chongqing to set up the National synthetical reforms of city&countryside test zone. It is a new development opportunity for Chengdu and Chongqing, the country also ratifies the potential of cooperation development, and economic development situation of Chengdu-Chongqing economic zone closely linked with reform effect of experimental area, moreover, coordinative development of the industries in the two cities is the highest priority. We should see the two cities have advantaged predominance and the cooperative desire and conditions. Facing all sorts of problems existing at present, we need to do more basic work and corresponding theoretical study.Based on the above questions, this topic starting from empirical study and normative, according to the current status and problems in industrial aspect of Chengdu-Chongqing economic zone, by means of successful experiences in other economic areas, puts forward some suggestions to make practical significance for harmonious development of Chengdu-Chongqing economic zone. Therefore, this topic made research as follows.First, after reading and studying related literatures, it makes clear the application of input-output model in regional economic development and the field that former studied, according to the characteristics of Chengdu-Chongqing economic zone belonging to transprovincial economic zone, it uses an appropriate cross-regional input-output model analysis input-output matrix.Second, under the definition of Chengdu-Chongqing economic zone make a whole and intergrated knowledge of industry status in its key developing areas, and on the base of a comparative study of other economic regions in china, make a description objectively of present situation of existing industrial division and cooperation between Chengdu and Chongqing.Third, using data support from cross-regional input-output model analysis and making industrial related analysis of Chengdu-Chongqing economic zone obtained industry relevance intensity between them, therefore, it will have the instructive function for the choice and development of leading industry of Chengdu-Chongqing economic zone.
