Research On Network-Based Innovation Capability Of Biotechnology & Pharmaceutical Industry Cluster In Liaoning Province

Biotechnology & pharmaceutical industry is an emerging industry in the world. China's "Eleventh Five-year" development project clearly stated the development of medical biotechnology, promoted the optimization and upgrading of medicine industry, developed it a pillar industry as the high-tech industry. Industry cluster is the main form of industrial organization in modern economic development, it has a great effect on promoting the development of economy, at home and abroad, there have been biotechnology & pharmaceutical industry clusters in different degrees. Unlike the traditional single-linear innovation model, innovation reflects itself the characteristics of systematic, network-based in industry cluster, it emphasizes the interaction between members. Innovation has become the main line of development in industry clusters, while innovation ability is the key to maintain the competitive advantages of industry clusters. Liaoning province is the old industrial base of China, it should grasp the development opportunity of biotechnology & pharmaceutical industry when changing the single industry structure, optimizing the industrial structure, integrate various resources to enhance the innovation ability of biotechnology & pharmaceutical industry cluster by giving full play to the accumulative effect, synergism and innovation superiority of industry clusters, develop the biotechnology & pharmaceutical industry cluster as a pillar industry of high-tech industry in Liaoning province.Firstly, this article introduces the network-based innovation theory in industry cluster, puts forward the network-based innovation concept of industrial cluster and its general characteristics, and then combines with the characteristics of biotechnology & pharmaceutical industry, establishes an innovation network model of biotechnology & pharmaceutical industry cluster, based on these, attempts to establish an evaluating indicators system of network-based innovation ability in biotechnology & pharmaceutical industry cluster. Finally, on the basis of empirical research, combined with the development situation of biotechnology & pharmaceutical industry in Liaoning province, carries on the analysis on innovation network model and a comparative study on network-based innovation capability of Liaoning province in biotechnology & pharmaceutical industry cluster, to find its strengths and weaknesses in innovation capability with the evaluating indicators system, and then based on these, proposes countermeasures to enhance innovation capability of biotechnology & pharmaceutical industry in Liaoning province...
