A Study On The Coordination Development Of Chengdu-Chongqing Urban Agglomeration Based On The View Of Regional Integration

With the acceleration of China's urbanization process, urban agglomerations which including various cities that have different functions and sizes are changing the spatial pattern of China's economic development. Urban agglomerations represented by The Yangtze River Delta, Pearl River Delta, Beijing and Tianjin have become the basic units in the international competition. But in China, because of suffering administration partitioning and the bondage of managing system, there are a lot of phenomena of poor coordination in the development of urban agglomerations. These phenomena of poor coordination have greatly restricted the fast and healthy development of urban agglomerations. In the current, urban agglomeration and urbanization have become the country's main development strategies, therefore research on the coordination of urban agglomeration is of great means. Chengdu-Chongqing Urban Agglomeration, as the most developed urban agglomeration in western China, plays an important role in the regional economic development of China, and is expected to become "the fourth pole" of Chinese economics. However, from the development status in the current, the coordination of Chengdu-Chongqing Urban Agglomeration still have a long way to go. The paper tries to construct a model for the coordination of Chengdu-Chongqing Urban Agglomeration, which is able to speed up the development of Chengdu-Chongqing Urban Agglomeration.In this paper, the main contents by studied are as follows. Firstly, the domestic and international studies on urban agglomerations are systemically summarized, and the total technique route is put forward. Then, the relative theories, methodologies and thoughts on the coordination development of urban agglomerations are analyzed; The content of the coordination development of urban agglomeration is revealed. Secondly, both qualitative and quantitative analysis on the development status of Chengdu-Chongqing Urban Agglomeration from the space, industry, size, features; Thirdly, based on the advantages and disadvantages of coordination development of Chengdu-Chongqing Urban Agglomeration, the paper proposes a coordination development model called "dual-core-driven, point-axis development". Through the integration of industry, space, function, system to promote the coordination development of Chengdu-Chongqing Urban Agglomeration; And finally come to the main conclusion.
