It is the HSE proper attitude and sufficient skills that keep staff healthy, make production safety and protect environment effectively in the oil production. The staff HSE skill improvement depends on HSE training program designing and implementing.LGEC (Liaohe Geophysical Exploration Company) is a specialized company in oil & gas prospecting of CNPC (China National Petroleum Corporation). There are several fatality accidents happened in LGEC up to now because LGEC leaders are lack of HSE management concept and the staffs were not trained well enough by HSE training program. In order to improve the HSE performance CNPC invites DuPont to be HSE consultant in 2008. LEGC has been helped and trained by DuPont since 2009. There are some problems such as absence of proper plan and target in LGEC HSE training. The main reasons consist of LGEC leader HSE management concept insufficiency, without scientific HSE training program and staff disliking HSE training. With the help of DuPont, first of all, LGEC makes the HSE training principles mainly concerning with long term, leadership commitment, linear training and high hazard priority. We will discuss how to combine DuPont advanced HSE experience with LGEC HSE management to design LGEC HSE training program. It is very important and necessary for HSE training design to analyze staff HSE demands, make HSE plan, perform HSE plan and evaluate the training.Excellent HSE training program conducting will help LGEC enhance the staff HSE capability, and then they could engage in HSE management system and improve the HSE performance continuously.
