A Study On Industry Conversion Of Resource-based City Jiaozuo

At present, as a global issue the industry transition of resource-based city has attracted the world's attention. Coal-oriented city Jiaozuo was developed on coal formation and the development of national economy has made great contributions to the city. Along with the increase of resources development of the coal resources, it is confronted with exhaustion of coal in Jiaozuo, that has been the threat to the healthy development of cities. Therefore, the study on industry transition in coal city Jiaozuo has taken on greater importance.This paper are based on the research situation and domestic industry transformation in coal industry transformation at home and abroad and analyses the main problems industry transformation of Jiaozuo facing. Summing up the four modes of the Jiaozuo industry transformation: local distant from multiple inheritance patterns, comprehensive development mode, and the government leading industry extension with a combination of market regulation. In this foundation, the paper applies the analytic hierarchy process and analyze the industry of Jiaozuo, choose the leading industries. In the wake of the exhaustion of the coal resources, plenty of surplus labor force came into being and those people can throw themselves into the development of modern agriculture. Agricultural non-staple food product processing industry has good economic efficiency and development potentialin Jiaozuo, so it should be the new leading industry. It should also be developed modern agricultural and the tourism industry in Jiaozuo.
