With the system reform of electric power construction investment, the electric power construction investment presents the pluralistic pattern. Investment risk evaluation of transformer substation project is also facing the problem of location. It seems significant to carry on the evaluation of investment risk in transformer substation project, avoid making the investment blindly, reduce the risk of investment, increase the benefit of electric power construction investment. Focusing on Shigang transformer substation project, the whole text basically analyzed the risk factors of risk assessment index in this project, discussing the method and steps of Monte Carlo simulation in investment risk evaluation for transformer substation project. Establishing a risk evaluation model for Shigang transformer substation project and using Crystal Ball to evaluate investment risk of the project, then provide references for decision-making of the project.
