Forestry resource-based cities were developed by the utilization and development of forestry resources. Forestry economic occupies the dominant position of urban economy. Due to the particularity of the resource industries, after developing to a certain stage, the industrial transformation has become the only way of resource-based cities. To make a general survey at the present domestic and international researches on the resource-based cities industrial transformation, they generally focus on the coal resources, less researches on forest resource-based cities, and it is lack of the theoretical results of forest resource-based cities industrial transformation. Based on regional economic theory, industrial structure optimization theory, dissipative structure theory and fuzzy entropy, data envelopment analysis and other related theories and methods, by using relevant research experience home and abroad for reference, to carry out the following research:Firstly, it begins with analyzing the internal mechanism of the industrial transformation of forest resource-based cities, to find out industrial transformation dynamics of forest resource-based cities, explore the industrial transformation impact factor of forest resource-based cities, so as to lay a foundation for the study under a clear clue. By studying the evolution law of industrial transformation of forest resource-based cities, to further clarify the industrial structure changes during the process of industrial transformation, find out the problems existed in industrial restructure of forest resources-based cities, so as to provide theoretical basis for the selection of leading industries during the industrial transformation.Secondly, the entropy theory was introduced into the transformation of forest resource-based cities study, a whole new idea and direction was provided for the resource-based cities transformation and industry succession optimization. By using industrial dominance fuzzy entropy optimization and data envelopment analysis (DEA) method, to evaluate from two aspects, competitiveness and potential of the industry in future development and the relative effectiveness of current industrial technology and scale, to build preference model based on two-dimensional coordinates, to carry out leading industry preference according to each industry's location on the screen.Again, according to the development tendency or orientation differences of the leading industry in industrial transformation of forest resource-based cities, compared to different suit conditions and scope of three modes of industry extension, industry replacement and industrial complex included in the transformation of forest resource-based cities, to select suitable mode of forest resources cities industrial transformation.Finally, by using the above mentioned results of the study, to carry out empirical research on Yichun, the typical forest resource-based city, and systematically analyze the problems in industrial transformation combined with actual situation, adjust the industrial structure, to explore the industrial transformation way of forest resource-based city. At the same time, to study on the policy support system of forest resource-based cities industrial transformation, and provide policy support for achieving smooth industrial transformation of forest resource-based cities.
