With mobile, broadband and non-voice trend in telecommunication, high-value links of telecom industry chain is to transfer from fixed communications to mobile communications, from basic network transmission to content and applications. Traditional telecom operators are facing multi-challenge, such as low value of basic voice services and decentralized trend, which means not only the weak revenue growth, but also the risk of being marginalized from the long occupied center of telecommunication industry. So, traditional telecom operators have to seek transformation.Mobile internet market is generated from the combination of the most two fast-growth fields, mobile telecommunication and internet, and now it has became the strategic emerging market for telecom operators'transformation. However, under the background of industry convergence and penetration, multi-force such as internet companies, terminal manufacturers, software vendors, are taking part in the mobile internet game. If telecom operators can't innovate effectively and seize the dominant position of mobile internet, they will lose the center of Industrial value chain and reduce to pure "channel".This paper believed that telecom operators must grasp 4 entries of mobile internet to seize the dominant position. First, IM and SNS platform, represented by Tencent QQ and China Mobile Fetion, which can achieve user lock and services polymerization. Second, smart phone OS, represented by China Mobile OMS, which can control the mobile terminal, interface and push function of mobile value-added services. Third, Mobile browser, represented by UC web, which is the first entry of mobile internet and has large network traffic and users. Fourth, open application download platform, represented by App Store and Mobile Market, which is an aggregation platform of applications by third-parties and provides content and applications in mobile internet era. The success or failure of above four platforms development strategy will largely determine whether operators will enhance the key links control of Industrial value chain and achieve new growth or not.Development strategy in mobile Internet era can provide some reference value for the transformation of fundamental telecom operators in'China.This paper is divided into five chapters. The first chapter briefly introduces the basic telecom operators in China to face saturation based communication services, telecom industry value chain reconstruction and other practical issues, seeking to transition the background, and thesis ideas. The second chapter describes the industry value chain, mobile Internet, the platform concept of the three key words, related to the development of basic theory and application, combined with the latest developments in data and the development of practical, for comments and explanations. The third chapter describes the three-tier structure of the mobile Internet, and reality from the operator of the Mobile Internet in Developing problems are analyzed, focusing on the health-based industry development and control of the core values of the industrial chain link, we introduce operators need to focus on the development The key focus areas and needs to enhance the critical capabilities. ChapterⅣwith the current early stage of development of mobile Internet business applications of several typical cases of the rise of reality, a comprehensive analysis of its substance is proposed to seize the mobile Internet four entrances help telecom operators in transition in the platform development strategy. ChapterⅤof the main conclusions of this paper and the inadequacies of the study are described.
