Analysis On Regional Disparity And Impact Factors Of Technology Efficiency In Chinese Information Service Industry

Information services industry has become the world's fastest growing information industry, the most active technology, one of the largest industrial value-added benefits. In the course of its development, efficiency of information services industry is the focus of scholars' attention, then how is the level of information service industry technology efficiency in China? How is the level of Regional Convergence in information service industry? Which factors have important impact on the technology efficiency of China's information service industry?These are problems which should be solved at once to enhance the efficiency of information technology services and studied deeply.First of all, based on summary of the theories on information service industry's technology efficiency at domestic and abroad,the present situation of technology efficiency in information service industry, the thesis was done preparing for three construction of empirical models of technology efficiency, the connotative definition of Information Service Industry and technology efficiency are defined. Then,we summed the basic idea ofβconvergence theory so as to provide a theoretical basis for empirical analysis of technical efficiency of information services industry. The thesis took 31 regions as research objects to measure the technology efficiency of Information Service Industry by using the SFA,DEA and Malmquist methods.Then,we used the result of Malmquist to compare which method was better,as the result,we chose SFA to analyze. The thesis reserched convergence trend of Information Service Industry technology efficiency.Finally, based on the theoretical assumptions of influence factors of information service industry's technical efficiency in China. The thesis gave the empirical study to analysis the influence factors of information service industry's technical efficiency by using Spatial Econometrics Analysis. At last, we got the relevant conclusions and policy recommendations.Research shown that the level of China's overall information services technical was low, and there were large differences between regions; the results also showed that the three regions had emerged Convergence of trends in the regions of China,the three regions existed the club effect, so, the differences between the three regions would gradually reduce. We got the results that the human capital, industrial concentration degree, labor productivity and Openness were significant for the efficiency of Information Service Industry,and had a positive role in promoting the efficiency of Information Service Industry, but technological innovation on the role of technical efficiency of information services was not significant, which was releated to immature development of China's information services.Therefore, the breakthrough to improve the efficiency of information services technology should be improving the quality of human capital, developing technological innovation and knowledge-intensive information services.
