The dynamic technological revolution, the fastening globalization of economy, the shift of customer demand and the transforming system of China make the environment in which the enterprises survive in changing more severely, faster and more difficult to predict, the competition environment for enterprises is turning out to be a dynamic one, that means it is increasingly complex and full of uncertainties. In such a new environment, the movement of the competitor is fastening, the variables that effect the competition are more then ever, it is more difficult to keep the competitive advantage and the boundary of internal and external advantages are turning out to be vague. For the enterprises, this means, on one hand, they should adapt, respond to and even reshape the environment by their strategies. On the other hand, they should continuously innovate to update their ability to obtain competitive advantage. So far, most of China's enterprises have got the sense of innovation, however, how to carry out successful technological innovations and how to choose an innovation type that fit them are turning out to be a difficulty. So it is of grave importance to study about the relationship between strategic orientations and technological innovation.Based on the conclusions of previous relative studies, this article made a systematic study about Strategic orientations and the Choice of Technological Innovation Type, the purpose and meaning of this study lies in:for the theoretical field, it introduced a new framework of how the strategic orientations effect the Choice of Technological Innovation Type by using a middle variable, this made the process of how the strategic orientations effect the Choice of Technological Innovation Type clear and helped to widen the train of thoughts. For the practical field, the practiced conclusions in this article will give directions to the enterprises for them to improve their way of technological Innovation and their implementation of technological innovation strategy.This article has done researches in the following three fields:(1) It introduced a framework of how strategic orientations and dynamic capabilities will affect the Technological Innovation Type of one enterprise. After the summary and analysis of the previous documents of technological innovation, it introduced a variable named Dynamic Capabilities into the framework as a link between the two factors, and gave relative assumptions among the three variables according to the framework. (2) It designed questionnaires for this research according to the assumptions mentioned above. And then, using SPSS11.5 and AMOS7.0 soft wares, it did factor analysis, reliability analysis, descriptive statistics and structural formula analysis on the data collected, and then checked the assumptions according to the conclusions of the analysis above. The conclusions proved the rationality of the framework introduced, and most of the assumptions had been proved. The article also analysed those unproved assumptions properly.(3) It expanded the proved assumptions and the conclusions, then introduced three countermeasures and advices for China's enterprises to improve their technological innovation, this made the study more practical. Firstly, it suggested that the combination of different strategic orientations will help enterprises improve their performance. Secondly, it suggested to study about the shift of the different types of dynamic capabilities in different period of time, and is aware of the threats from the environments to keep continuous technological innovation, and this made the study more practical. Finally, it suggested that China's enterprises pay more attention to the Disruptive Innovation to find and take the opportunities in new markets.
