With the coming time of global economy, the range of competition among enterprises is expanding rapidly and becoming fierce. The competition of talent in HR is high rising, which results in the faster flow of the high quality talents among the enterprises. As is known to all, HR management is the center part of the management functions for enterprise operation, which is playing more and more roles in the operation management of the modern enterprises. The heart of the HR management focuses on the performance management, which plays a very meaningful role in the implementation of enterprise strategic targets.The performance appraisal is a strategic management method, which can not only help to increase the employee's performance, but also to develop the team's potential ability, as well as the individual ability. Further more, this method can also help the enterprise constantly gain the successful thoughts in management. The effective use of performance appraisal helps the enterprise in terms of sustainable development in many aspects such as promotion of organizational development, increased enterprise performance, exploration of potential ability of the employee, and especially, the closed combination of employee's individual target with the strategic target of the enterprise, as well as the balance of enterprise target with individual development. It is known to all that an effective performance appraisal system can help the enterprise increase management efficiency, and also increase the management level of the management team.SY Company is a small size private enterprise with professional research and production of fire-protection facilities. Based on quantitative survey and readings on related materials and papers, this article performs an analysis on the existing status of the SY Company's performance appraisal system, as well as the problem issues and the reasons involved, and finally the article extends the solutions to solve the problems. The purpose of it, as is known, is systematically to clarify the theory of performance appraisal. Based on this, the article also discusses the system design of performance appraisal system, as well as the introduction of ways to implement the performance appraisal, and hoping that, at least to certain degree, it can enrich the framework of the theory on performance appraisal, as well as a breakthrough on implementation strength. As conclusion, the article could supply the enterprise with a reference to some extent on the work of performance appraisal.
