The Establishment And Application Study Of 3d Geological Model In The Open Pit Mine

This paper was in the foundation of summary and analyse to the theory of 3D Geological Modeling(3DGM).The paper implemented a demo system of 3DGM based on the condition of Yilan Open Pit Coal Mine.The system is in the secondary development of AutoCAD2008 by VBA,the object-oriented program design language. The system can establish 3D geological model,display the 3D geological model in any direction, build the drilling database, draw any direetion section, modify and update 3D geological model, produce manufacture plan, reserve calculation and edit the 3D solid graphics. The establishment of 3D geological model provided decisions for the estimation and design of Open Pit Coal Mine,the models have an important guiding significance during the mine's production and provide more important information for the designers.Good results received in Yilan Open Pit Coal Mine shows that the system is very practical and easy to operate and the coal bed geological model developed by the system is accurate and reliable.
