Drum shearer is a main implement equipment of mine of high yield andefficiency in working face of production coal. And its reliability directly impactson the production efficiency of the mine. However, as a result of the complexstructure of its system and poor working conditions, the reliability is alsoconsidered to be the index used to evaluate the drum shearer. Detailed, accurateand reliable data has offered powerful data bases to reliability prediction andreliability assessment. In order to standardize data collection, statistics, andanalysis and facilitate their reliability index calculation, it is of vital importanceto build an integrated and reliable drum shearer engineering platform for drumshearer on reliability management.This thesis set up the shearer reliability engineering system structure andanalyzed the reliability standard of shearer, then proceed FTA analysis, FMECAanalysis of mine reducer, put forward different reliability assurance measures ofshearer for Different types of faults. This thesis applied economics full life-cycletheory and reliability engineering to the analysis of the shearer for the design,manufacturing, installation, use, maintenance, and scrap the entire life cycle andcompleted a reliability management research on each various stages and phasesof the shearer’s whole life cycle. According to the needs analysis of shearerproduction enterprise, Shearer reliability engineering platform is establishedunder the ASP.NET framework, based on C#language and the database inMicrosoft SQL Server2008. The platform is built for effective reliability datasharing between the shearer manufacturing enterprises and the user. And it canbe used to query, add, and delete the reliable data in real time and print report forms. In addition, it can achieve reliability and effective drum shearermanagement.Ultimate intent of this project is to build a complete reliability ofinformation engineering platform for coal producers and coal manufacturingenterprises to share information, enhance the reliability informationmanagement of shearer, and effectively improve drum shearer level ofreliability.
