With the rapid development of mining industry, especially the mine mining, it produces a large amount of rock slope, destroys the ecological balance of the original landscape soil vegetation system severely. Rock slope ecological reconstruction technology has been applied to the ecological slope protection of bare rock slope in our country. Due to the high cost and lack of material of mine matrix, the technology application is hindered in mine rock slope ecological recovery.Solid wastes such as iron tailings, straw, mushroom residue, furfural residue and 425# ordinary portland cement, water-retaining agent, organic fertilizer, adhesive, etc are a basic material preparation of slope protection afforestation matrix. Selected by orthogonal design method, four factors of cement, straw, mushroom residue and adhesive matrix have a greater influence on the mechanical properties. Matrix density, moisture content, water absorption, evaporation rate and water stability are researched, and through unconfined compressive strength and direct shear test, it studys the matrix content and stage on the unconfined compressive strength of sample matrix, the influence of shear strength indexes. combining the plant growth test and physical mechanical properties test, two kinds of optimal ratio of matrix are obtained. Through theoretical analysis such as the root reinforcement theory, root soil composite shear test is researched.Researches show that solid wastes such as iron tailings and straw as the main raw material preparation rock slope ecological reconstruction matrix is feasible, finally the optimum proportion of matrix is concluded, Thickness of surface of matrix is 2~3cm, the optimum proportion of matrix is that cement, straw, mushroom residue, adhesive, organic fertilizer, water-retaining agent, furfural residue is 10%, 2%, 2%, 0.6%, 2%, 0.1% and 2.5% of iron tailings; Thickness of underlying of matrix is 7~8cm, the optimum proportion of matrix is that which is 12%, 2%, 1%, 0.8%, 2%, 0.1% and 3% of iron tailings; starting from the raw material, it brings good economic benefits and ecological benefits to mine by saving cost.
