The Shale shaker is the first essential equipment of the modern drilling solid-control machines, which undertakes most work of weeding out solids in the drilling liquid, the capability of which directly result in whether the solid control systems can fulfill the work well. Using static and dynamic measurements are the important develop steps in newly design of drilling machines in order to fully improvement the product quality, To ensure the manufacture quality of Shale shaker, the Shale shaker GB/T11648-89 stipulates that every Shale shaker must be done dynamic experiment and measurement before leave factory. The dynamic measurement on Shale shaker is the indispensable and important means to product inspections, which provides the guarantee to maintain equipments. To upgrade the reliability and the level of dynamic measurement on Shale shaker, develop the instrument of dynamic measurement on Shale shaker, using modern science and instrument technology, is imperative at presentThe paper introduces the development history of test instrument—from traditional hardware instrument to the current visual instrument based on Intelligent Virtual Control via Virtual Instrument. Analyzes the characteristics of the Intelligent Virtual Control and compared with traditional hardware instrument and LabVIEW—graphical programming language. The paper also Introduces the basic concept and design principle of virtual instrument based on Intelligent Virtual Control in three aspects, function endowing, test fusing and assembling as building blocks, the forming process from model elements of non-intelligent virtual control to Intelligent Virtual Control.
