In heat treatment field, controlling precision and stability of equipments act as a key role to heat treatment quality of products. Because electronic potentiometer and the two-position type controlling style are using widely in our country to control temperature of most box-style furnaces nowadays, which lead to the heat treatment quality can not satisfy the product requirement as desired.According to actual workshop situation, "kingview" software was used as developing platform, intelligent instruments, cycle controller, intelligent modules and controllable-silicon were adopted to build the hardware system which can put heat treatment equipment computer controlling function and intelligent PID controlling function into practice. On field running showed that the system owned many high controlling properties, such as high temperature precision, less temperature fluctuation, high equipment automation and distributing controlling of heat treatment workshop. RS-485 communication interface was designed to make the system capable of net communication and remote monitoring.In this paper, the superiority of the controlling system software which was developed by using "kingview" was approved by practical measurement of the monitoring system. It can not only simplify the developing process of software but alse realize the communication between computer and intelligent instruments and modules to form a controlling system which owns many excellent properties, such as friendly user interface, effective configuration function and high stability and reliability during on field running period.
