After analyzing the various means of snow-clearings in the world at present, the project of a sort of mini snow-blower fit for China is put forward in this paper. Based on the theory study and applied structural design, the three-dimensional solid model and planar drawing have be completed with Pro\ENGINEER engineering software, which can offer an entire technical data and engineering drawings for producing factory.Firstly, through the measure to snow in Dalian we can certain the mechanical properties of hardness, density and compression strength of snow on the road via the field measurement data, which offers a base for designing in theory.The conventional large-size snow-blowers' structure and basic design theory have be used for reference and the specialties of snow-clearings, used for schools, factories and other cases, are thought over, the JX1 type snow-blower has be designed and manufactured at first , with which we can testify if the working principle of such mini snow-blowers and devises is right.Thought the experiment of JX1, In order to overcome the shortages of JX₁, the JX-3 type snow-blower are designed. And the helical belt is used in JX₃ also to strength the snow-cutting function and a worm drive is designed to let the appearances of JX3 in good look.Then we confirm primary parameters, transmission project and structure. Because of taking various of factors into account and optimizing critical parts such as the auger shaft thrower, we put forward in this paper a suit of practical structure JX3 with appropriate size and beautiful appearance and recommend this type of snow-blower to factory to produce as a new product.After designed, the three-dimensional models and planar drawings of whole 3 types of snow-blowers are established with the Pro/E engineering software, which can offer the whole technical data and information to the cooperating factory.
