The Design Of Electric Remote Meter Reading System Based On The Internet Of Things

With the emergence and development of the IoT technology,the intelligence,Internet of things and other nouns have been familiar to the public.As a result,many new industries have been born,and many traditional industries have been changed.Remote meter reading technology is an important application of the Internet of things,which brings convenience and new experience to our life.This advanced intelligent meter reading system can also replace the tedious manual labor and greatly improve the management efficiency.This article deeply studied and summarized the background and development of the intelligent meter reading system.After that,this paper also did some further research about the Internet of things technology,GPRS control system,WIA-PA wireless stacking technology and website production part.At last,this paper designed a remote monitoring system for electricity.The system uses STM32 chip as the main control processor,designs the wireless network communication system based on Si4432 chip and makes a GPRS communication system based on SIM-900 A.The system also uses DDZY3699-Z type digital meter to collect electricity and PC as the upper computer to display data.The software environment mainly applies IAR Embedded Workbench and Visual Studio 2010.The IAR is adopt to transplant the WIA-PA protocol stack to the collector and concentrator for wireless communication.The Visual Studio 2010 is applied to design the web form interface and the web server.This paper makes wireless network quality testing on the performance of the system.It shows that the system has good self-healing ability.The function experiment proves that the system has the characteristic of high precision measurement,stable control operation,real-time display.The system has the advantage of flexibility,low cost and simple operation,and it can better satisfy people's demand for remote meter reading.
