Mall Building Energy Consumption And Energy Saving Design Study

The research on shopping mall's energy-saving is basis on the statistics and analysis of commercial building's energy consumption. Other foreign countries already did amount of works on this, but we just started it in few developed cities, like Beijing, Shenzhen and Changsha. Most of cities lack the information on this field.Our research target focus on energy consumption conditions in cool areas. By collecting record and data of air-conditions, lightings, and other equipments in the shopping mall, we could find out where needs the most, and obtain the information for energy-saving design. The following are major contents:1) We could find out the major factors which influence the shopping mall's energy consumption from analysising energy distribution, construction condition, external structure and internal environment.2) One typical shopping center in cold local is taken as representative and the detailed energy consumption appraisal to it is carried on and the energy consumption index is obtained. Referring to 《Design standard for energy efficiency of public building 》 , we find it is insufficient in the surrounding protection structure hot working design and the equipment movement management of the shopping center. Thus the energy is wasted and the big energy conservation potential is being.3) The primary cause of the oversized energy consumption of the chosen shopping center construction is analyzed and the feasible energy conservation transformation plan or the suggestion is proposed.The study results may have some reference value for the shopping mall design in the cold area.
