With the promulgation and implementing of the new curriculum standards, one of its features is to give study back to the students. It also emphasizes the importance of the development of autonomic learning and advocating autonomic learning of the students again and again.The call of the autonomic learning is so strong. In the meantime, there is a phenomenon which the students has low studying ability amd the teachers don't appreciate the training of autonomic learning ability. Therefore, this thesis does a research on autonomic learning ability of junior school students in Maths learning, and studies the methods on how to instruct junior school students in class and after class to learn by themselves in Maths learning.This thesis mainly includes three parts. The first part defines the concept of autonomic learning by analysing the documents. And it introduces the researches on autonomic learning in China and overseas and basis of the theory. The second part is the research phase. It mainly surveys the autonomic learning ability of junior school students in Maths learning. As a result, most of the students are still used to the passive learning method, and they are not will to participate the study actively. What's more, the teachers' teaching is still the main method. The third part is on how to solve the problems in the survey and explore the strategy of guiding autonomic learning of junior school students in Maths learning. By creating various teaching situation in class, improving learning instruction, adopting decent teaching form and executing reasonable assessment system, autonomic learning ability of junior school students will be improved. At the same time, it has found a way to train the students to learn Maths by themselves after class.
