Many of the first grade students in senior high school on mathematicslearning are very incommensurate,even for mathematical weary. Appear thiskind of circumstance, mostly because of the characteristics of students of highschool mathematics is not clear, do not know, at the beginning of high schoolmathematics teaching content, requires the presence of strong contrast, stillmove with the junior high school learning habits and methods, ignoring thecultivation and infiltration of mathematical thought and method. Newmathematics curriculum standards advocates the cultivation of studentsautonomous learning ability, pay attention to training the students learninginitiative and exploring consciousness, according to a new high of passivelearning, teachers should help students to change their learning methods,therefore in mathematics teaching, teachers must cultivate an independentability to get knowledge, respect students subject position, cultivate studentslearning initiative.In this article,we select the first grade students in Senior High School assamples and research on the currency of students’ independent learning abilityin mathematics learning The contents of questionsnaire involves students interestin learning mathematics and attitude, study habits, learning strategy,autonomous learning space and time etc.. The research results show that a partof a new high mathematics independent learning capability is not strong enough,in their mathematics learning lack of initiative, active thinking, problem solvinghabits, no active participation in learning consciousness. On the basis ofautonomous learning theory and mathematics autonomous learning abilitypresent situation, and combining with the high school the first grade studentscharacteristics, the first grade senior high school mathematics textbooks inmathematics teaching characteristics, promoting the ability of independentlearning strategies:creating problem situation, develop students analogicaltransfer ability, proper use of evaluation means. Through the use of high school mathematics learning project instruction teaching mode to improve studentsmathematics autonomous learning ability. Focuses on how to apply case studyunder the guidance of training students to form a kind of independent studyhabits and quality, make the students independent ability is improved, so that thestudents subjectivity, autonomy, independence to qualitative promotion andpublicity. Through the teaching practice, the implement action of teachingstrategies and model is helpful to cultivate the students’ habit ofpreviewing,improve the class efficiency and strengthen autonomous learningability.
