Recently, the students in the secondary vocational schools generally have the phenomena of learning without activities, employment without preparation, career without planning and so on. The phenomena result in improper and low employment. All of these call for deep thought:How the secondary vocational schools guide and help the students to recognize their self-potential and specialized course correctly, choose their own suitable occupation and the development path scientifically, cultivate their own basic professional accomplishment and career planning ability better and so on. All of these are problems which career education concerns. But the consciousness of carrying out career education is weak, the theoretical research is not deep and the practical exploration is not adequate. This study is based on such a realistic background.This thesis defines the concept of career education by using documentary method, induction method, action research method, etc. And through exploring its theoretical basis, it analyzes the present situation and significance of career education of the secondary vocational school, and expounds the main contents of career education and the principles that should be followed, such as facing all the students, passing through the whole process, the participation of all the people, students as main body, keeping pace with the times, etc. It emphatically expounds the concrete implementation approaches and methods of career education by combined cases from the perspective of the teacher of moral curriculum, and provides certain theoretical and practical reference for carrying out career education in the current secondary vocational schools.
