The issue of interpersonal relationships is of great importance to university students. It is very helpful for the students to deal therelationships with others appropriately that they can become useful persons and promote their physical and mental development. However,the interpersonal relationships among contemporary university students have been caused amount of problems, which make us, the educators quite anxious about them.Probeing and solving the problem of interpersonal relationgships of contemporary university students is very important issue of structuring harmonious society,harmonious campus and helping university students to grow up healthy and sound, and this has already aroused the academic circles broad paying close attention to and studying.In this thesis, based on the previous researches, we will try to study the value of Chinese traditional culture on the issue of interpersonal relationships of contemporary university students.The theory of "loyalty and forgiveness", as effective nutrition for the Confucian to treat with the interpersonal relationships, has greatly affected people's daily behaviors and the 'way they saw the world in the past. Nowadays, it has life-force big and powerful as before. Because of incisive culture connotation and immediate significance, the theory of "loyalty and forgiveness" provides morality standard and accomplishment demands for university students, and it benefit to adjustment the fine interpersonal relationships of contemporary university students.
