At present, the composition of students from rural middle school is at a low level, which is without doubt a fact, and the current status of composition teaching is a worry to all of us. The article made a comprehensive research into the students, teachers and leadership of senior high school in the rural area of Quangang district by means of questionnaire and interviews, and at the same time applied the well-developed teaching system---experiential composition teaching to the rural middle schools and found out the general and special reason why the students are annoyed with writing to the extend that they don't have "cooking rice" and are lack of "strength" to express themselves. In order to change this situation, the article discusses the methodologies and strategies of experiential composition teaching which are applied to the rural middle schools. That is, the students should learn to observe, think and reflect on life; the interest of students in writing should be inspired on the basis of their personal experience of life; the students should express their peculiar cognition and understanding of nature, society and life by means of individual and poetic language. Of course, application of experiential composition teaching to rural middle schools involves the relationship of general theory and concrete practice. Only by combination of the two and specific analysis of specific problems, can the system of experiential composition teaching bring forth achievements.
