On the basis of documentary, interviews, questionnaires, surveys, mathematical statistics and other research methods, this study has been done on the theory physical education curriculum, oriented towards the teaching situation of aerobic kick-boxing in Nanjing higher education institutions.Research has been conducted on students'psychological characteristics for options, the level of teachers'quality, teaching facilities, etc., the in-depth causes for the situations has been analyzed, and the future development of college sports Aerobic Kick-boxing curriculum in Nanjing higher education institutions has been explored.Studies have shown that:aerobic kick-boxing has been carried out to some extent in Nanjing higher education institutions since the implementation of Optional Physical Education Teaching Model.However, imbalance has arisen in sex ratio, educational backgrounds of aerobic kick-boxing teachers; there has also been a serious imbalances in sex ratio of elective aerobic kick-boxing students.As the new "Guideline" relaxs the teaching contents and generalizes the teaching objectives, a deviation arises between the practice of aerobic kick-boxing teaching and the new curriculum standards; that is to say, and too much emphasis on health has been laid on health and the fundamentality of aerobic kick-boxing, namely, the basic study of theory and techniques of aerobic kick-boxing has been ignored.Too much emphasis on action learning techniques has caused the overlook of the cultivation of the ideas of physical exercise, and results that a considerable number of students still don't know aerobic kick-boxing is what kind of sports after learning it.Thus, the teaching effect is not satisfactory, teaching goals are difficult to achieve.In addition, in the aspect of site facilities, since leaders in different schools play various importance on physical education, input in sports equipment investment is also very different, it is difficult to meet the needs of aerobic kick-boxing instruction.Through the survey and analysis, it is found that only by strengthening the importance on physical education, reinforcing the building of aerobic kick-boxing teachers, optimizing the structure of teacher qualifications ranks, creating a good learning environment and stepping up publicity efforts for aerobic kick-boxing, the development of Aerobic Kickboxing can be accelerated in higher education institutions.
