A Study On The Mode Of Undergraduate Talents Cultivation In Comprehensive Universities Of Xinjiang

In order to meet the requirements of economic construction and social development in Xinjiang, talents cultivation of higher education should be positioned scientifically and revolved around its own features so as to cultivate the specialists needed in this area and adapt itself to the changes taking place in the employment market and the development of higher education.Market demand is the source of talents cultivation, playing a decisive role in the setup and regulation of the goals of talents cultivation, majors and courses. Only when the mode of talents cultivation is geared to the requirements of the development of the local economy and provide intellectual support can we bring up the talents needed in the local economy.This paper attempts to analyze the mode of the undergraduate talents cultivation in the comprehensive universities of Xinjiang in conjunction with the development of the regional economy and community. Centering around the goal of nurturing practical talents with comprehensive quality and trying to achieve breakthrough in the mode of the undergraduate talents cultivation to satisfy the local economic needs, the study is working on the pursuit of a diversified and local mode of innovative talents cultivation giving priority to the transmission of knowledge, development of practical skills and improvement of quality.The reform of the mode of talents cultivation of comprehensive universities in Xinjiang, on the one hand, should adhere to the relations and laws outside education, taking into account the social needs for talents. On the other hand, the reform should follow the relations and laws within education, taking into consideration the cultivation goals and specification and harmonizing the different elements in the mode and improve the conformity between talents quality and talents goals.
