At the beginning of the 1960s, accompanied by the appearance of the property right market the American management scholars took the lead in putting forward the theory of enterprise valuation which has been developed in the western countries greatly from then. As the reform and open further develops and the property right market rises in China, the theory above has been introduced into this country and applied widely in company management, property right trade, venture investment and financing in capital market. Understanding the value is the gist and precondition of all economic management conducts, and increment of corporation value has become the management aim of the modern enterprises. Therefore, to understand the traits of the enterprise valuation in the new time and the function and form of it, and to evaluate the enterprise valuation correctly is very necessary for improving the competition ability and strengthening the sustaining development capability of enterprises.The rising of modern logistics has brought the port enterprises nicer development prospect and expansible market demands, and attracted large numbers of investors. So, to seize investment chances in the so called booming industry, to evaluate the integrative quality of port enterprises and to understand its inherent values is more important for us. With the combining of logos analysis and case analysis, this thesis analyses the meaning, forming approaches and the influencing factors of the modern port enterprises' value, contraposing the industry characteristics of port enterprises and the status quo of the port enterprises values' evaluation in China. Then, based on the existed evaluation system, it goes further research so as to construct a set of value evaluation theory and methods system which is suitable for the modern port enterprises.
