| In recent years, as the telecommunication industry's quick development, the competition among telecommunication software companies is also speeding up. In order to improve the competition of the products, improving the quality is a must. Applying IPD (Integrated Product Development) and CMMI can not only shorten telecommunication products R&D cycles effectively, reduce R&D risks and expenses for companies, but also ensure the quality and competitiveness of the products.As a telecommunication products manufacturing company, company A has some problems in product R&D management and quality. This article tries to combine IPD and CMMI together, by introducing IPD into company A on the basis of existing CMMI level 2, to improve BOSS products' marketing competitiveness and R&D capacity in company A.Firstly, the paper expatiates on the theory of CMMI and IPD, and analyzes the difference among IPD, project management and CMM. Secondly, the article describes company A's product R&D current status from the aspects of company organization structure, strategy selection, BOSS products and encountered problems in product R&D. Then it has a qualitative analysis on the product R&D problems. Afterwords,in order to further locate the reason of the problems, the article establishes BOSS software product quality evaluation module based on MacCall software quality evaluation module; combining hierarchy analyzing method and dark evaluation theory, from the follow 3 aspects: BOSS product operation, product modification and product diversion, the article runs a quantitative analysis; and also runs analysis and discussion on the evaluation results. Finally, it draws the conclusion that in order to improve the software product quality in company A, what product R&D management issues have to be solved. Chapter 4 raises the solutions and measures to the existing problems in company A's product R&D, from the aspects of IPD module's introduction, integration of IPD and CMMI, product quality control. |
