Jiangsu Province County Sustainable Economic Development Study On Spatial Difference

County economy is the important composition with fundamental status in our national economy and the foundation of achieving sustainable development. The country economy of Jiangsu province is in strong trend status in China. But there is many problems in development of country economy in Jiangsu province. Many places take the GDP growth as their development goal, and this creates the contradictory between economy and society, resource, environment prominently day by day. The sustainable development of country economy endure great restricts. The main restriction factor what affect the sustainable development of country economy and the development countermeasure and development step is different for the places of different development condition and development level. Therefore, we should analyze the spacial difference of the sustainable development of Jiangsu province and find the main contradiction in the development of each places and put forward the development countermeasure to local conditions. This has important theory significance and realistic value to boost the sustainable development of the country economy in Jiangsu province.This text take the the sustainable development and its appraisal theory and method as foundation and analyz the present characteristic and main problems of the country economy in Jiangsu province. Following the principles of system, principal component, hierarchy, dynamics and operability and the actual development of Jiangsu county economy, we choose 29 indices to form an evaluating system of sustainable development of Jiangsu county economy. We evaluate the sustainable capacity of Jiangsu county economy with five indices as follows: economic development, social development, standard of living, quality of environment and resource carrying capacity. Perform coefficient analysis to the 52 counties of Jiangsu province utilizing SPSS software.According to the results, the scores of these counties are different in each index. Moreover, there is discrepancy in space distribution of scores for each index of these counties. The disparity is significant in the potential of Jiangsu counties' sustainable development. Therefore we should take pertinent solution in developing county economy according to the actual condition of each county. We classify the counties as five grades in term of the scores attained by each county in five indices: 1. Abundant foundation in economy and society but disadvantaged resource or environment. 2. High score in each index and balanced development. 3. Low score in each index and balanced development. 4. Weak foundation in economy and society but advantaged resource and environment. 5. Weak foundation in economy and disadvantaged resource and environment. Statistics illustrate that all counties of classify 1 are located in middle area of Yangtze delta in South Jiangsu. The classify 2 all are located near the Yangtze River. Most regions of class 3 are located in the peripheral region, which shanghai lies in the center. Most of Class 4 are located in the.fringe area between Central Jiangsu and North Jiangsu. Almost all of Class 5 are located in the north region of North Jiangsu.Finally, we evaluate the advantage and disadvantage for each class region and propose the guideline of sustainable development for different kinds of counties according to the character respectively.
