The Quality Of Supply Chain Performance Measurement System And Empirical Research

With the globalization and liberalization of economy and the arrival of knowledge economy, there is a trend that the demand of customer changes fast, product life cycle shortens continually and market competition becomes more and more vigorous. Enterprises are faced the dual pressure that improve quality and reduce cost. Competition between enterprises has turned to the competition of total supply chain. A scientific supply chain quality performance measurement system (QPMS) can reflect operational condition of companies timely and accurately and provide scientific evidence for optimization of supply chain management system.Enterprise achieve high quality at the low cost in the vigorous competitive environment, this is quality performance that enterprises pursue. Now, word-class companies self-evaluate its performance according to criteria for excellence performance in national quality prize for the achievement of excellence performance. Quality performance measurement was about single company in the past, quality performance measurement for supply chain is scare.The paper systematically studies the supply chain quality performance measurement on the basis of ISO9000 and China Quality Award (CQA). Firstly, present study condition of the performance measurement of supply chain and the quality performance measurement of supply chain are analysis, and the concept of quality performance of SC is definite, which provides theoretic ground for SC quality measurement. Then, quality performance measurement indicators of suppliers, manufacturers and distributors are established respectively based on CQA, which form the quality performance measurement indicators of the whole supply chain. Finally, some evaluation methods in common use are contrasted and distributor quality performance is measured empirically by the method of analytic hierarchy process.The creative points of this article are as follows: firstly, the concept of the quality performance of SC are definite according to the definition of quality performance for a single enterprise; secondly, QPMS of suppliers, manufacturers and distributors are established respectively based on CQA; thirdly, the article establishes supply chain QPMS on the basis of QPMS of suppliers, manufacturers and distributors.The article not only studies theoretic background of supply chain quality measurement, but also provides an exercisable method for supply chain quality measurement. A feasible analytic method is put forward for measurement of efficiency of the whole supply chain.
