Through analyzing the current situation of Shanghai container hub port and the Yangtze River Golden Waterway, the primary content of the dissertation points out the importance of the ports, container liner companies and container logistics network in integration and development and how to develop their functions, to promote the development and propel the integration of Shanghai container hub port and the Yangtze River Golden Waterway.The first chapter of this dissertation elaborates the background of integration and development between Shanghai container hub port and the Yangtze River Golden Waterway, and expounds the development status of Shanghai container hub port and the Yangtze River Golden Waterway as well as the important meaning of their integration separately.The second chapter discusses present situation of the Shanghai container hub port and the Yangtze River Golden Waterway's integration by analyzing the current situation and development trend of the Yangtze River foreign trade and the present container transportation market of Yangtze River. It points out the importance of container liner company in the integration and development.The third chapter elaborates the important functions of these three essential factors, including the ports, the container liner companies and container logistics network system in integrated development and points out the existed problems. When analyzing the relations of competition and cooperation between the ports , it has introduced advantage theory of balanced game and double layer game model.The fourth chapter advances the suggestions of promoting the integration and development of Shanghai container hub port and the Yangtze River Golden Waterway from three aspects which included promoting the cooperation between the Shanghai port and ports in the Yangtze area, propelling the cooperation of ports and paying attention to the functions of container liner company, promoting the formation and development of container logistics network system.At present, there are a few researches on integration between international container hub port and internal river at home and abroad. This dissertation, proceed from actual condition, advances the important functions of three essential factors in promoting integration and development, especially develops the importance of container liner company, and advances suggestions correspondingly. It has the realistic guiding sense to promote integration and development of Shanghaicontainer hub port and the Yangtze River Golden Waterway.
