Supply chain have made the competition of products or service into the competition of supply chains. Therefore, the implementation of effective supply chain management will increase efficiency and competitiveness of enterprises. Supply chain performance assessment is an effective tool and foundation of the implementation of the supply chain process improvement and optimization. In summary, this paper will focus on issues of the supply chain performance assessment and process improvement.On the basis of a wide range of reading and analysis of domestic and international supply chain performance assessment Status Quo, the paper studies the self-Produce-and-self-Sale and Make-to-stock supply chain performance assessment and process improvement, then determines the use of definition system and process indicators of SCOR(supply chain operation reference model).combining of Six Sigma technology of process capability index and the level of sigma , the paper evaluates the enterprise-choice SCOR performance indicators and identify the processes which need to improve, then study and improve them , at the same time the paper gives concrete Implementation of supply chain performance assessment and process improvement which is based on Six Sigma and the SCOR model.Based on Six Sigma and supply chain management on the status quo at home and abroad, the paper firstly study about necessity and affinity, as well as notes. Proved that the combination of Six Sigma and supply chain management have solid foundation and also is situation-needed. This is one of the creative result of this paper.The main outcome is the creative use of combination of SCOR Model and Six Sigma technology to study the supply chain performance assessment and process improvement.As to SCOR model ,the paper uses its definition of the supply chain standard processes and indicator system, and as to Six Sigma, the paper uses its process capability index and Sigma level technology. Finally, the paper gives a case of pharmaceutical companies empirical analysis to prove that the outcome is scientific and practical. The method of the paper studying can be applied to all levels of SCOR processes and indicators.
