Textile clothing industry is a traditional industry with a long history which is closely linked with human life. China's textile clothing industry occupies a very important position in national economy and it is also a strategic industry which concerns a country's economy and its people's livelihood. Features of economy and market in textile clothing industry decide that it fits the survival and development of middle-and-small sized enterprises. Under the background of economic globalization and China's entrance to WTO, middle-and-small sized textile clothing industry enterprises has not only a deep gap comparing with competitors abroad but also a certain distance with fast-developing middle-and-small sized enterprises in the seaside areas in southeast China. The supportive policies of the local governments in Shandong and Dezhou bring opportunities and how to choose strategies to develop with their aid is the research topic of this paper. Emphasis is laid on the following: what is the external economic environment of Dezhou middle-and-small sized textile clothing industry enterprises? What is outside environment of the industry? What is the advantage and disadvantage? What development strategy should be chosen?Major content and views:The first chapter elaborates the aim and significance of the research. It especially introduces the significance of middle-and-small sized textile clothing industry enterprises to county region economy of Dezhou.Chapter two analyzes the middle-and-small sized textile clothing industry through SWOT analysis. It gives an introduction of the current situation of the industry, makes an analysis of the external economic environment and outside environment of the industry and based on this SWOT analysis is made of the middle-and-small sized textile clothing industry.In chapter three, on the analysis of the specific case of Dezhou Huatai Textile Co.,Ltd. and the environment of development, it makes a study of the enterprise's advantage, disadvantage, opportunities and challenges. The making, Implement and control of development strategy, the problems met during the implement, the principles and methods used to solve the problems and the effect of the operation of the development strategy are elaborated.Chapter four puts forward the development strategy of Dezhou middle-and-small sized textile clothing industry through systemic analysis, using the advanced experience according to the practical situation of Dezhou.Chapter five draws a conclusion on the basis of the comprehensive analysis of the fruits in the first four chapters.
