Accelerate The Development Of Animation Industry In Tianjin

Animation industry is a sunrise industry of 21st century. In the year 2006, the total value of global digital animation industry reaches 280 billion U. S. dollar, and the value of its derivative products exceeds 600 billion U. S. dollar. Animation industry has already become a very important industry throughout the world as a low energy cost and no environment pollution industry, and also pushes development of its related industries. Now it also has been people's spiritual nourishment and is changing the overall global industry structure.Based on Tianjin, this article considers international and domestic environment, identifies economic and social development of the city, analyzes existing problems in developing process of Tianjin animation industry by comparing different patterns of developed countries, proposes suggestions to accelerate development of Tianjin animation industry, thereby facilitating decision making of better developing animation industry.This article illustrates the vital position of animation industry in economic and social development, briefly introduces its development in some countries, holding that it is beneficial for promoting cultural, economic, scientific and social sustainable development.This article analyzes current development condition of Tianjin animation industry, pointed out the advantage of Tianjin in developing animation industry such as fine industrial foundation, far-reaching culture tradition, abundant talented people, strong R&D ability, powerful economic strength and government's favorable support. But meanwhile, many problems also exist, for example, lack of core talent and creativity, lag behind in consciousness, short of investment, ill-protect property right and broken industrial chain etc.After analyzing development patterns of US and Japan, this article provides some suggestions and solutions about how to speed up development of Tianjin animation industry, that is, enhance the foundation of industry, improve outside environment, create our own brand, complete animation industry chain, keep making innovation and select international way to develop it.
