The Research On The Development Of Chinese Animation Industry In The VIEW Of Industry Chain

What is special about the animation industry is that it gets enterprise's profit through selling products from the downstream of the animation industrial chain, Instead of make money mainly from selling its own products. Therefore, how the animation industry can find its proper industry chain model of development for its survival and expansion is extremely important.The modes of development of the International cartoon industry are diverse; America, Japan, South Korea and other countries have already find suitable model for their own development. China once copied the general international development model, then after a period of development, it appeared that this general development model does not fit with "the water and soil conditions" here. To be realistic, China is a weak country of animation industry, so we should not only pay more attention to learn international experience from other countries, but also explore the right development model for our own cartoon industry.In this paper, using the industry chain related theories, and applying a digital analysis and the method of giving examples, the author first analyzes the advantages of Chinese animation industry chain, and then discusses the present situation of the industry's development and the existing problems, together with summarizing the development modes of the countries whose cartoon industry are more developed, and finally put forward some useful and practical suggestions, hoping that these suggestions can be helpful to the further development of Chinese animation industry.
